Job Responsibilities:
Starting payrate is $37.40+.
Requirements:
路 Must be a certified Journeyman in Tool and Die or equivalent to 10+ years of experience in Tool & Die.
路 Must be able to work either 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:30pm) or 3rd shift (11:00pm-7:30am; Sunday night/Monday morning through Thursday night/Friday morning) and be available to work every 3rd weekend and overtime as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
路 Attain safety, quality and productivity goals
路 Repair and maintain production tools and dies
路 Construct new tools and dies as required
路 Verify conformance of machined or repaired dies to specifications by checking dimensions, clearances and alignments
路 Troubleshoot problems during production
路 Modify dies to conform to engineering changes; conduct tryouts of new dies
路 Work to blueprints, sketches, written and verbal instructions
路 Maintain and update equipment records, schematics, blueprints and files in orderly fashion
路 Operate lift truck, overhead crane, floor scrubber and equipment to wash dies
路 Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
路 Able to work well with others; build and maintain positive employee relations
路 Able to prepare, read and interpret written reports, instructions, procedures and guidelines
路 Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees, suppliers and customers
路 Able to operate machine tools such as TIG/MIG/ARC welders, lathes, milling machines
路 Able to use computer and software as required
路 Able to work to blueprints and sketches
路 Must have good color vision to work with tooling components
路 Able to lift 75 pounds
路 Able to work in confined spaces
路 Able to use standard hand and measuring tools
路 High school diploma or GED is required
