Stablehand - Dolly Parton's Stampede

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Stablehands to join our team. The Stablehand will assist with the daily care of horses and maintenance of the stables to ensure a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our morning **11am - 7:30pm shift** and  **7:30pm to 6:00am Wed, Thurs, Friday, Saturday**

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Must be reliable and dependable. 
• Capable and comfortable working with and around animals of all sizes.
• Monitor physical fitness and health of barn animals, report accordingly to management.
• Care for barn animals by providing feed, fresh water, and clean spaces.
• Perform daily inspection of animals for soundness and or appearance.
• Communicate with performers accordingly when it pertains to barn animals.
• The stable hand position may require cross training in other areas of the production department.

Qualification Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age.
• Education requirements include high school diploma / GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:

• Continuous standing & walking on level ground as well as up and down steps/ladders.
• Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and balancing.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pulling, and pushing of barn equipment/tools.
• Occasional operation of tractor.
