What You'll Do: The Assistant Front Office Manager supports the Front Office Manager in leading daily operations across the Front Desk, Shuttle, and Bell/Guest Services teams. This role helps create a seamless arrival, departure, and stay experience by serving as Manager on Duty, resolving escalated guest concerns, supporting scheduling and team development, upholding resort standards, and assisting with front desk duties, and guest service needs. The ideal candidate brings strong hospitality experience, a guest-focused mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to remain positive and solution-oriented in a dynamic resort environment. This position is located onsite in Breckenridge, CO. This is a full-time, year-round position with benefits eligibility. Variable schedule which may require weekends and holidays. Transitional housing may be available. Position starts $59,000-$64,000 annual salary DOE + ability to earn commissions. Supervisory Responsibilities: Serve as Manager on Duty, providing confident leadership and timely resolution for escalated guest questions, concerns, or service recovery opportunities. Help lead and support daily operations for the Front Office team, including: 8+ Front Desk Agents/Night Auditors 5+ Bell/Guest Services Agents 5+ Shuttle Drivers Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, attendance tracking, and labor management to support accurate and efficient department operations. Partner with the Front Office Manager to coach, train, develop, and support team members in meeting service, performance, and operational expectations. Model and reinforce Beaver Run Resort standards, policies, procedures, and service expectations to ensure consistent guest and employee experience. Duties/Responsibilities: Create a warm, welcoming experience for guests and homeowners by delivering attentive, professional, and solution-focused service throughout their stay. Support efficient front desk operations, including guest transactions, check-ins, check-outs, reservations support, and accurate account handling. Respond to guest questions and requests in person, by phone, and through email with timely, accurate, and helpful information. Communicate clearly with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Reservations, Sales, and other resort departments to coordinate guest needs, operational updates, special requests, and service recovery opportunities. Assist with leading daily shift operations, ensuring appropriate coverage, smooth workflow, and consistent service delivery across Front Desk, Bell/Guest Services, and Shuttle operations. Monitor arrivals, departures, VIPs, groups, special requests, and guest preferences to help ensure details are communicated and executed effectively. Support team members through on-the-floor coaching, clear direction, timely follow-up, and holding staff accountable to established service standards, procedures, and operational processes. Assist with resolving guest concerns using sound judgment, empathy, and a service recovery mindset that supports guest satisfaction and resort standards. Promote a safe and compliant work environment by following and reinforcing resort safety procedures, reporting concerns promptly, supporting team compliance with safety expectations, and adhering to applicable federal, state, and regulatory agency requirements. Identify opportunities to improve processes, communication, and the overall guest experience while supporting a positive and collaborative team environment. What You'll Bring: High school diploma or GED - required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field - preferred. 2+ years of front desk, hospitality, guest services, or equivalent experience - required. 1+ year of supervisory or team leadership experience, with the ability to coach, support, and hold team members accountable - required. 1+ year of customer service and/or sales experience, with a strong focus on creating positive guest experiences - required. Experience in a ski resort, hotel, or high-volume hospitality environment - preferred. Experience with Springer-Miller Systems or similar property management systems - preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in written and spoken English - required. Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills - preferred.
