Compensation
$110,000–$130,000+ annually, with $125,000 target salary, depending on experience and qualifications.
Ideal Candidate
You’re looking for someone who has:
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) licenseÂ
- 5+ years of experience in grading, excavation, site development, or heavy civil constructionÂ
- Strong estimating and takeoff experienceÂ
- Experience with earthwork, site grading, land clearing, trenching, wet soil mixing, utilities, and soil stabilizationÂ
- Ability to read and interpret civil plans and specificationsÂ
- Understanding of equipment production, labor, materials, trucking, and project costsÂ
- Experience working directly with general contractors, developers, engineers, and ownersÂ
- Strong sales and business-development skillsÂ
- Existing relationships/network within the construction industryÂ
- Ability to work closely with operations, project managers, superintendents, and field crewsÂ
- Strong communication and negotiation skillsÂ
- Ability to identify profitable opportunities and understand project riskÂ
