Healthcare United is seeking a Cardiac Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner to join an established cardiology and electrophysiology program in Southern Connecticut.

This role is ideal for an experienced Nurse Practitioner with cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiac device, or cardiovascular medicine experience.

The incoming provider will work alongside electrophysiologists, cardiologists, APPs, and clinical staff to support patients with arrhythmias, rhythm disorders, cardiac devices, and ongoing cardiovascular care.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage electrophysiology patients
  • Support care for arrhythmias and rhythm disorders
  • Assist with pacemaker, ICD, and cardiac device management as appropriate
  • Conduct follow-up visits and patient assessments
  • Collaborate with physicians and cardiology team members
  • Educate patients on cardiac conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up care
  • Maintain accurate EMR documentation
  • Support continuity of care within the cardiology service line


Requirements

  • Certified Nurse Practitioner
  • Active or eligible Connecticut APRN license
  • Cardiology or cardiac electrophysiology experience preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative specialty practice environment
