If you would like to be a part of our team and make real difference in people’s lives. The Child and Family Guidance Center is currently seeking a full-time Director of Information Technology.
The Director of Information Technology is a hands-on position responsible for leadership and management of the Information and Technology Department, including all IT, Data Management and Telecommunications functions, including the provision of department strategic and operational planning, technological and data upgrades, changes and system improvements, project planning, and the allocation of resources.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following Essential Functions:
- Manage all aspects of the Information and Technology Department, including system hardware, system performance, software, data integrity and management, help desk, security, and telecommunications to ensure the department meets the organization’s needs and objectives.
- Develop and manage the Technology Department budget, including development of business justifications and cost benefit analyses for proposed projects, initiatives and for IT, Data Management and Telecommunications spending.
- Analyze and plan for future organizational needs in all department areas, including cost projections, staffing resources and current system interfaces. Benchmark, analyze and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the technology infrastructure and systems.
- Direct the implementation and execution of system changes, upgrades, technology and data management projects to ensure that all aspects of a project are planned, barriers are addressed, timelines are established, and all tasks are appropriately tested and documented.
- Ensure that current systems are fully functional and operating efficiently and within industry standards, and that action is taken to address major performance issues in an expedient manner, including the development of a disaster recovery plan.
- Develop, implement and ensure the monitoring of IT, MIS, Data Management, Security, and Telecommunications policies and procedures for completeness and accuracy.
- Manage all department contracts for services, including consultants, software, hardware, security, and telecommunications contracts and service agreements.
- Stay current on developing trends in the information and technology field.
- Ensure that accurate documentation is maintained of hardware, software, system changes, permissions, and data definitions.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with agency policies and state and HIPAA regulations.
- Administer and monitor IT governance, policies and procedures, Cybersecurity and HIPAA compliance

Qualifications:
- Strong background in network management and Microsoft 365 Office administration.
- Significant experience in the information and technology field, with related IT management experience relevant to the essential job functions. Department level management experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science or a related discipline. Significant relevant work experience may be substituted for degree.
- Proven experience in IT, MIS, Data Management, Security, and Telecommunications infrastructure planning, development, and implementation.
- Telecommunications, security systems and functions knowledge preferred.
- Strong understanding and experience with project management principles.
