Join Our Team as a Workplace Banking Relationship Manager

Location: Lawrence, MA and Bridgewater, MA 

Do you have a passion for helping members and prospective members achieve financial wellness? We’re looking for a relationship-focused professional to execute BrightBridge’s growth strategy through workplace and community events, telephone, video conferencing, and email. Reporting to the VP, Workplace Member Growth & Financial Wellness, you’ll drive sustainable membership growth and product penetration, help maintain employer relationships, and deliver financial education through seminars, webinars, and one-on-one consultations.

What You'll Be Doing (Your Responsibilities)

  1. Drive new member growth by direct engagement with members and prospective members with an emphasis on checking accounts, direct deposit relationships, savings and certificate accounts, lending products, credit cards, digital banking enrollment, mobile wallet adoption, and mortgage and investment advisor referrals.

  2. Assist in the development of sales and marketing strategies to increase new memberships, increase the number of products used by employee-members and the overall dollar value of each membership.

  3. Assist in the coordination of onsite and virtual outreach activities.

  4. Actively engage in follow-up activities to drive member growth and product acquisition. 

  5. Assist in identifying opportunities to expand services offered to employer groups. 

  6. Manage a database of members and prospective members within the CRM platform.

  7. Serve as a primary point of contact for complex banking needs, ensuring timely and personalized services.

  8. Conduct regular portfolio reviews to identify opportunities and provide informed recommendations and customized solutions.

  9. Resolve escalated member concerns with professionalism and urgency to maintain member satisfaction and trust.

  10. Maintain logs of sales activities and produce sales and sales projection reports. 

  11. Assist the VP Workplace Member Growth & Financial Wellness in maintaining relationships with strategic Workplace Banking partners. 

  12. Assist in the development of the organization’s financial literacy strategy for workplace and community partners.

  13. Assist in the presentation of education programs, including webinars, seminars, workshops, digital content, and Lunch & Learn sessions.

  14. Conduct one-on-one consultations with members to educate them on financial wellness.

  15. Live the organization’s cultural beliefs by promoting the “See It, Own It, Solve It, Do It” culture, continuously improving member service and the staff experience, and focusing efforts on achieving key results.

  16. Actively represent the organization by participating in community events and activities that strengthen relationships, enhance visibility, and support the organization’s commitment to the communities it serves.

  17. Ensure decisions align with the goal of being the “Best Place to Work and Best Place to Bank.”

  18. Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For (Your Qualifications)

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  2. Three to four years of retail banking experience with direct customer contact.
  3. Strong PC skills, with emphasis on Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust quickly and maintain professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence.
  5. Strong consultative sales and relationship-building abilities.
  6. Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements within financial institutions.
  7. Fluency in Spanish preferred
  8.  financial counseling or advisory certifications are a plus.
