As a Heavy Equipment Technician at REIC Rentals, you'll be the technical expert responsible for ensuring our rental equipment performs at its best-whether in our Brighton, CO shop. In this hands-on role, you'll support critical operations across oilfield, construction, and industrial environments by diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of equipment. What You'll Do
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on rental equipment in the shop
- Install, service, and repair a variety of equipment, including gas and diesel-powered machinery, HVAC systems, generators, and light towers
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and document findings
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and mechanical drawings
- Maintain accurate service records using mobile and digital reporting tools
- Provide professional customer support, including training customers on proper equipment operation and maintenance
- Collaborate with teammates and escalate complex technical issues when necessary
- Follow all company and customer safety policies and procedures
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years of field service technician experience in oilfield, construction, heavy equipment, or industrial environments
- Personal set of technician tools
- Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing gas, diesel, HVAC, hydraulic, electrical, and lighting systems
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with experience supporting a diverse equipment fleet
- Ability to work safely in physically demanding environments and varying weather conditions
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic information
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and professionally
- CDL preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR required)
- Must be at least 21 years of age

Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and reach throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times per shift
