The Warehouse Inventory Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting daily warehouse operations through receiving, stocking, cycle counting, order verification, and inventory control activities. Relies on established procedures and company policies to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Reports to the Warehouse Manager or designated supervisor.


Responsibilities: 

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
  • Accurately receive inventory transactions into the company's business system software.
  • Stock materials and products in designated warehouse locations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and investigate discrepancies.
  • Perform scheduled cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
  • Pick, verify, and stage materials for customer orders and internal transfers.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management of shortages, excess inventory, and damaged materials.
  • Maintain accurate product locations, labels, and bin assignments.
  • Process inventory adjustments as directed by management.
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • All other duties as assigned. 


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous warehouse, inventory, or distribution experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control procedures.
  • Experience with ERP or inventory software preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain preferred certification.
