Eastern Environmental Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced, high-level Senior Environmental Project
Manager / Operations Manager to join our growing team.
This is not an entry-level project management position. We are looking for an experienced environmental
construction professional who can independently take ownership of complex projects from estimating and
preconstruction through field execution, financial management, and closeout.
The ideal candidate is versatile, decisive, technically knowledgeable, and equally comfortable managing
field personnel, clients, subcontractors, consultants, regulators, schedules, and project financials.
Responsibilities
, Manage environmental and specialty construction projects from award through completion
. Develop project budgets, schedules, work plans, procurement strategies, and staffing requirements
. Coordinate and manage field crews, subcontractors, vendors, trucking, disposal facilities, and
specialty equipment
. Review plans, specifications, contracts, environmental response, bid documents, and regulatory
 requirements
. Prepare estimates, proposals, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
. Track job costs, labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, disposal costs, and project profitability
. Identify additional work and change-order opportunities
. Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, engineers, government agencies, and
  general contractors
. Solve field problems quickly without requiring constant direction from senior management
. Maintain accountability for project safety, schedule, quality. documentation. and financial
 performance
. Assist in developing younger project managers and field personnel
Relevant Experience
Strong candidates should have substantial experience in several of the following areas:
. Environmental remediation
. Contaminated soil excavation and disposal
. UST/AST removal and closure
. Environmental and geotechnical drilling
. Groundwater remediation and dewatering
. Industrial/environmental construction
. Emergency response
. Public works and prevailing-wage projects
. NYSDEC and local environmental regulatory requirements
. Government contracting
. Heavy equipment and specialty environmental equipment
Qualifications
. Approxamately 8-15+ years of relevant environmental construction/project management experience
 preferred
. Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects
. Strong estimating and job-costing ability
. Excellent understanding of field operations and construction logistics
. Strong written and verbal communication
. Ability to read plans, specifications, contracts, and environmental reports
. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
. OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER preferred
. Valid driver's license
Candidates with backgrounds in environmental contracting, remediation, drilling, civil construction,
industrial services. or related specialty contracting are strongly encouraged to apply.

Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 per year commensurate with experience and demonstrated ability,
