Join Our Team as an Economic Stability & Wealth Building Manager

CAPI is seeking a collaborative and experienced Economic Stability & Wealth Building Manager to lead programs that support financial stability, asset-building, and economic advancement for immigrant and refugee communities. This key leadership position provides oversight of Financial Wellness, Homeownership Services, Business Coaching, and Benefits Enrollment programming.

The Economic Stability & Wealth Building Manager will be responsible for program administration, contract and financial management, staff supervision, and ongoing program evaluation and development. Reporting to the Economic Prosperity Director, this role will ensure high-quality, culturally responsive services while advancing integrated strategies that support participants from financial stabilization to long-term wealth building. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about economic empowerment, experienced in program leadership, and committed to advancing opportunities for immigrant communities.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership and Service Integration: Provide strategic leadership and oversight of integrated economic stability programs, such as financial coaching and financial capability services, homeownership education and counseling, benefits enrollment and MNsure navigation services, and business and entrepreneurship coaching. Lead program planning, implementation, and continuous improvement efforts while ensuring services are coordinated to support participants' progression toward financial stability, asset growth, and long-term economic success.

Financial and Contract Management: Manage program budgets, funding streams, and contracts to ensure fiscal responsibility and compliance with organizational and funder requirements. Monitor expenditures, revenue, grant performance, and reimbursement processes while supporting audits, site visits, and financial reporting activities.

Staff and Leadership Development: Supervise a multidisciplinary team that may include Senior Financial & Homeownership Coaches, Financial & Homeownership Coaches, Benefits Enrollment Navigators, and a Business & Entrepreneurship Coach. Provide coaching, performance management, professional development support, and leadership that fosters a positive, inclusive, and mission-driven work environment.

Data Reporting and Program Evaluation: Monitor program outcomes, performance metrics, and compliance requirements across multiple reporting systems including CAPI Salesforce, LISC FOC Salesforce, Homekeeper, MFHA DCS, and CAPI Dashboard . Prepare narrative and quantitative reports for funders and organizational leadership while using data to identify opportunities for program enhancements, growth, and improved participant outcomes.

Organizational Collaboration: Work closely with the Economic Prosperity Director and other agency leaders to strengthen service delivery, ensure compliance with funding requirements, and advance strategic organizational goals. Contribute to cross-departmental initiatives that support CAPI's mission and long-term impact.

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in human services, community development, nonprofit management, public administration, finance, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have experience managing programs, budgets, contracts, and staff, preferably within a nonprofit or community-based organization. Experience working with immigrant, refugee, and culturally diverse communities is strongly preferred.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of financial capability, homeownership, and public benefits systems, along with experience managing multi-funded programs and integrated service delivery models. Candidates should possess strong leadership, supervisory, and team development skills, as well as excellent project management and organizational abilities. Success in this role requires the ability to effectively manage competing priorities, meet deadlines across multiple programs, and build strong relationships with participants, staff, community partners, and funders through exceptional communication and collaboration.

Required Licenses/Certifications

• Valid MN Drivers' License, access to reliable transportation, and the ability to meet CAPI's driving record requirements
• HUD Test approved or committed to take the test within the first 6 months of employment.
• Financial Counseling Certification, Housing Counseling Certification, Homebuying Education Certification, Credit Counseling Certification, or committed to take the test within the first 12 months of employment.
• MNsure training certification within the first 90 days of employment.
