Admissions Coordinator

The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for collecting, organizing, and providing information and serving as an effective resource for clients and families, ensuring a smooth and organized admissions process. This role includes:

• Providing excellent customer service and clear, accurate, and compassionate support to potential clients and family members who call us
• Facilitating an easy and supported process for clients and families, from the first call through their entire admissions experience
• Serving as a liaison and resource between clients/families and other Newport teams, including coordinating internal admissions communications
• Completing all necessary admissions documentation in a timely manner
• Maintaining a high level of organization and flexibility, including adapting to changing priorities throughout the day

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree or two (2) years of applicable experience in behavioral health field preferred
• Ability to speak two or more languages
• Great communication skills that allow you to build rapport, be diplomatic, and navigate difficult conversations
• Detail oriented, professional, and able to stay calm under pressure
• A patient-first mindset that inspires you to support young people and families with empathy and caring
• The capacity to listen attentively, actively, and patiently, knowing that you’re meeting clients and families at a difficult and crucial moment in their lives
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Compensation for this role ranges from $22.00-$28.00 per hour depending on education and experience.
