Job Title: Automotive Office Manager

 

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Automotive Office Manager or assistant office manager who would like to move up to lead our administrative and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in financial reporting, maintain compliance with state/federal regulations, and provide strong leadership to clerical staff, fostering a collaborative, efficient environment. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Accounting & Reporting: Prepare monthly dealership financial statements, manage bank reconciliations, and run daily operating controls (DOC) according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Office Management: Oversee daily office functions, including accounts payable/receivable, cash management schedules and payroll.
  • Compliance & Deal Processing: Ensure all vehicle sales and service documentation is accurate, compliant with state/federal regulations, and finalized in a timely manner.
  • Inventory & Licensing: Coordinate with departments on inventory reconciliation, dealer trades, and wholesale transactions.
  • Vendor Relations: Act as a key contact for vendors, service providers, and corporate accounting staff. 

Requirements

  • Experience: Previous experience as an automotive office manager or assistant office manager at a dealership is required.
  • System Knowledge: Reynolds & Reynolds preferred
  • Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
