We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team onsite in Broussard, Louisiana.


The shipping and receiving clerk processes incoming and outgoing products, materials, and supplies for the business unit in accordance with applicable procedures.

Requirements

Job Duties:

  • Operating workshop equipment, such as forklift and cranes, to load and unload shipments routed through the facility.
  •  Verifying identification and conformance of incoming and outgoing product to purchase order.
  •  Maintaining inventory of packaging/shipping materials and supplies needed.
  •  Preparing goods for shipment, including packaging and/or palletizing as necessary, and generating shipping documentation.
  •  Visually inspecting incoming goods for damage and directing goods to the quality control department for further inspection, as applicable.
  •  Routing, staging, or segregating components as necessary, and documenting movement of components for inventory control.
  •  Collecting documentation as required by the nature of the product received and purchase order (i.e. MTRs, certificates of conformance, production records, test reports, etc.).
  •  Ensuring shipping/receiving documentation is complete, accurate, and saved in designated location on the network.
  • Keeping accurate records, maintaining associated registers, and providing in-progress updates as required.
  •  Performing periodic review of products in staging and storage areas to ensure proper storage conditions and legible identification markings.
  •  Maintaining and keeping working areas clean, safe and clutter free, ensuring all tools are picked up and stored properly at the end of shift.
