Product Support Assistant

At Jered, a PAR Systems Company and leader in engineered solutions supporting the U.S. Navy and maritime industry, we are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Product Support Assistant to join our Aftermarket Sales Team.

The Product Support Assistant is a vital member of the Aftermarket Sales Team, responsible for overseeing all order entry activities across both Aftermarket and New Construction products and jobs. Serving as the central coordination point for all incoming customer orders, this role ensures the accurate, timely, and thorough processing of direct customer orders while providing essential support to the Aftermarket Sales and Program Management teams.

This position plays a key role in cross-functional communication, proactively identifying discrepancies, resolving issues related to pricing or documentation, and ensuring that all internal teams have the information needed to execute successfully. By executing precise and consistent order entry workflows, the Product Support Assistant enables seamless downstream fulfillment and contributes directly to overall customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Success Criteria

The Product Support Assistant will be successful by maintaining high data integrity across all order entry activities, ensuring orders are properly structured, priced, and aligned with customer specifications and internal standards. This role is accountable for maintaining an organized, reliable order pipeline, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and reinforcing a high-quality customer experience across all Aftermarket and New Construction programs.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across cross-functional teams
• Highly organized with effective time management and prioritization abilities
• Deadline-driven with a strong focus on data integrity and process accuracy
• Proactive problem-solver with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• High level of professionalism and reliability
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to operational excellence
• US Person

Preferred

• Familiarity with marine equipment or similar industrial equipment
• Experience with government contracts
• Prior experience with ERP systems or order management platforms
