Primary Duties: 

o Escorts patient from check in to treatment area. Assists the clinician in set up of patient treatment and guides patients to check out.
 
o Completes supply inventory and ordering.
 
o Assists Therapist or Therapist Assistant with treatment per State Practice Act Regulations.
 
o Confirms registration and required paperwork is signed and tracked.
 
o Assists in scanning and labeling paperwork as needed.
 
o Assists management with compliance and risk management tasks such as, but not limited to, expiration date checks, SDS updates, and equipment safety checks. Assists with student and volunteer paperwork and orientation
 
o Performs modality temperature checks and modality cleaning.
 
o Cleans and prepares patient treatment areas including handling soiled linen and biohazard material.
 
o Assists with department activities and projects as needed.
 
o Responsible for the initiation and follow through of regular communication with appropriate medical staff, patients, Optim team members, and management.
 
o Follows Optim Orthopedics and Optim Therapy’s practice policies and processes related to compliance, safety, and infection control.
 
o Performs necessary tasks as needed and assigned to ensure clinic and department compliance and satisfactory patient care.
 
o Demonstrates a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor.
 
o Maintains a high level of confidentiality.
