Job DetailsJob Location: Stone City Plant - Bryan, TX 77808Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $20.25 - $20.50 HourlyJob Shift: EveningJob Summary: Responsible for unstacking, stacking cabinets, and transporting cabinets with carts throughout shipping department onto trucks. Products may be 25-200+ lbs. and may require teamwork to lift. This is a very physical, repetitive position, and applicants must be physically fit and capable of handling themselves and the product safely. This position offers 20–25 hours per week, with flexible workdays Monday through Friday and flexible second-shift hours between 3:00 PM and 12:00 AM, starting at $20.25/hour (or more for experienced applicants). Duties and Responsibilities: Keep a safe workplace by housekeeping and keeping an organized work area. Stand and walk up to 4-6 hours per day on concrete surfaces while transporting, loading and stacking cabinets. Physically carry and transport items for long distances up to 4-6 hours a day. Must be able to communicate effectively with management and coworkers by phone or in-person. Must be mentally alert and capable of remembering oral instructions and routine tasks. Must be able to withstand fluctuations in temperature and environmental fluctuations. Good attendance and punctuality are necessary for scheduled days. Must exemplify through appearance and behavior the company's image of excellence. Must be alert and able to identify and respond to a hazard by either reporting it immediately, or by taking corrective measures if directed. Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English. Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Physically carry and transport items for long distances up to 4-6 hours a day. Must be able to lift, carry, and transport material in accordance with the requirements listed in the matrices below, repetitively for up to 4-6 hours a day. Frequently bend, stoop, reach grasps, twist, push, and pull items which range in accordance with the requirements listed in the matrices below. Must be able to communicate effectively with management and coworkers by phone or in-person. Must be mentally alert and capable of remembering oral instructions and routine tasks. Must be able to withstand fluctuations in temperature and environmental fluctuations. Must be able to transport items through mud, sleet, and rain. Must be able to work the required daily and weekly work hours as determined by the schedule. Good attendance and punctuality are necessary. Must exemplify through appearance and behavior the company’s image of excellence. Must be alert and able to identify and respond to a hazard by either reporting it immediately, or by taking corrective measures if directed. Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
