Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Operations in Buffalo, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, tenant corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to help support a welcoming retail environment.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, and incident documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
