The role you’ll contribute:

Is responsible for conducting yoga/mindfulness focused instruction

The value you’ll bring to the team:

  • Ensures a safe and supportive environment for all class participants.

  • Develops and implements programs tailored to the needs of participants.

  • Designs and leads classes that promote physical and mental well-being.

  • Follows AFAA's Basic Exercise Standards and Guidelines.

  • Maintains the class schedule to meet patients' needs.

  • Selects music and coordinates it with routines prior to class time.

  • Participates in the education program "Instructor Maintenance."

  • Keeps up current CPR and first aid skills.

  • Collaborates with other wellness professionals to enhance overall health and wellness offerings. Provides effective instruction and guidance to help participants achieve their wellness goals. Monitors and adjusts class routines to accommodate varying skill levels and physical abilities. Evaluates the effectiveness of programs and makes improvements as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.



The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • 2+ experience in the fitness industry

  • CPR Certification
