We build state-of-the-art, 45-foot mobile command centers with satellite communications, SWAT and tactical vehicles, real life CSI trucks, Snap-on® tool trucks and more. This is a rare opportunity to join our team!


LDV is currently seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Human Resources Generalist. The ideal candidate will be flexible, organized, and possess strong prioritization and time management skills. Responsibilities will include a variety of duties with a focus on recruiting.  

Job responsibilities include:

  • Execute all functions of recruiting including job posting, pre-employment screening, background checks, interviewing, and      employee on-boarding and new hire orientation.
  • Maintain government reporting and affirmative action plan
  • Participate in the safety program and safety team, and conduct employee safety training
  • Manage worker’s compensation claims
  • Address employee relations issues and questions
  • Maintain knowledge of company policies and procedures, pay plans, employee benefits, employment laws, and communicate regularly with employees and management to ensure understanding and compliance
  • Schedule and manage company/employee events
  • Participate in a team of receptionist back-ups
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

Candidates should have these qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Human Resources and/or experience in Human Resources. 
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills and communication skills
  • Ability to work with confidential information in a discreet manner
  • Must have excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong work ethic
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
