POSITION OVERVIEWĀ
Drives the delivery of core human resource programs and services, partnering directly with leadership, site management, and employees to ensure policy compliance and effective employee relations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSĀ
- Serves as a liaison to management on HR related issues such as talent and performance management, leadership development, workforce planning, labor & employee relations, trainingĀ objectives,Ā compensationĀ and benefits.Ā
- Fosters a cohesive working relationship with the local union andĀ participatesĀ in committees as needed.Ā
- Conducts inquiries and investigations, asĀ required, and works closely with management to resolve issues.Ā
- Assists in responding to claims from outside entities such as the local union, EEOC, and DOL.Ā
- Counsels site supervisory management on the Labor Agreement to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and corresponding employment laws.Ā
- Provides day-to-day guidance to front line managers and employees in regard toĀ coaching, counseling, career development, policy interpretation, and general HR related policy or procedures.Ā
- Manage complex employee relations issues by conducting effective investigations.Ā
- Maintain in-depth and current knowledge of federal and state regulations to ensure compliance.Ā
- Provides general HR duties that include conducting exit interviews, data gathering and reporting,Ā assistingĀ inĀ HRIS related changes and updates andĀ assistingĀ in the recruitingĀ processĀ as necessary.Ā
- Other duties as assigned.Ā
Ā
- A bachelor's degree in human resourcesĀ or related fieldĀ
- 4+Ā years ofĀ directly relatedĀ human resources experienceĀ is required
- SPHR/PHR Certification preferredĀ
- Strong employee relations and conflict resolutions skillsĀ
- Must have knowledge of employment related laws, NLRA, and compliance with government regulationsĀ
- Strong interpersonal skills in developing consensus buildingĀ
- Must have excellent computer skills with MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel and MS OutlookĀ
- Must be able to manage time effectively and set prioritiesĀ
- Requires the ability to manage multiple tasksĀ
- Must have a valid driver's licenseĀ
- Must be willing to travel 10%Ā
- Must be willing and able to be onsite 5 days a week.
