We operate with student-focused programs to ensure successful training and employment placement for each individual we serve. As a Culinary Arts CTT Instructor, you’ll teach students the hands-on skills and knowledge they need to build a career in the culinary and food service industry. JOB DUTIES Provide industry-recognized instruction and hands-on training in Culinary Arts. Prepare students for successful completion of Career Technical Training and industry-recognized certifications. Develop individualized training and support plans to help students achieve their goals. Provide quality career technical training that prepares students for employment and continued education. Help students develop practical skills and professional habits needed for success in the workplace. Provide students with job leads and support graduate placement efforts. Maintain a classroom that is organized, safe, clean, and conducive to learning. Monitor student progress, participation, and performance. Provide individualized support and guidance to help students stay on track toward program completion. Model professionalism, accountability, and the Career Success Standards. Maintain accurate documentation and protect the confidentiality and integrity of student information. Work collaboratively with other departments to support student success. Provide positive supervision and management of students while maintaining appropriate behavioral standards. Plan, prioritize, and complete assignments accurately and on time. Identify challenges, develop solutions, and follow through to ensure issues are resolved. Must be certified, licensed, or accredited in the state where the Center is located, or accredited by a professional trade organization. For NTC programs, instructor must be certified by a union/trade organization or national trade certifying organization. Previous Job Corps experience preferred. Must possess a valid Driver’s License and meet Company insurability requirements. Strong communication, organization, and instructional skills. Ability to work effectively with students ages 16–24. Commitment to student development, career preparation, and success.
