We operate with student-focused programs to ensure successful training and employment placement for each individual we serve. As a Senior Recreation Advisor, you’ll lead engaging recreation programs that keep students active, build leadership skills, and create a positive community. You’ll supervise recreation activities and staff while helping students develop confidence, healthy habits, and meaningful connections. JOB DUTIES Oversee the daily operation of a diverse recreation program designed around student interests and wellness. Develop and implement engaging recreation, leadership, and evening programs. Create and post weekly and monthly recreation schedules. Supervise recreation staff and coordinate coverage to ensure students have safe, well-supervised activities. Partner with CPP, Social Development, Center staff, and community resources to expand recreation opportunities. Promote health, wellness, positive behavior, and the development of Career Success Standards. Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming recreation environment. Track student participation and maintain accurate documentation. Manage recreation equipment and supplies, including inventory, maintenance, and purchase recommendations. Provide positive leadership and hold students accountable while creating an environment where they can thrive. Provide transportation and other operational support as needed. Work collaboratively with staff across the Center to support student success. Ability to work effectively with students ages 16-24 and staff across multiple departments. This position requires the ability to sit, stand, climb, walk, lift, pull/push, carry, reach, stoop, and crouch.
