Pay Rate: $20.36 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document and report observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and complete required reports, logs, and shift communications in alignment with Allied Universal and site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
