Position Summary

The foreperson must have the ability to direct employees; review and interpret drawings specifications; directs employees/crew so that work meets requirements; be familiar with jobsite safety plan; enforce safe practices; conduct training in safety; be familiar with work assigned and ensure that all work meets or exceeds the standards; prepare and submit timesheets, safety reports, quality and quantity reports, and other required reports; plan work; take responsibility and accountability for their crew; motivate employees; and support his/her immediate supervisor in any possible manner to effectively perform their duties.

Primary Responsibilities

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Oversee daily operations of the parking lot, ensuring efficient traffic flow and maximizing parking space usage.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Supervise and coordinate the activities of lot attendants, providing guidance and support to ensure effective performance.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Direct and monitor vehicle movements in the parking lot to prevent congestion and ensure a safe environment for both vehicles and pedestrian

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Implement and adjust traffic control measures, such as signage and barriers, to optimize parking lot operations.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of lot attendants, encouraging professional development and adherence to safety practices.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and special events.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Enforce safety regulations and procedures among staff and patrons, ensuring compliance with local laws and organizational policies.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Conduct regular inspections of the parking lot, identifying and addressing safety hazards or maintenance needs.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure that lot attendants provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, concerns, and assisting with parking needs in a professional manner.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintain accurate records related to parking lot occupancy, and any incidents that occur within the parking facility.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Coordinate with other departments, management, and external agencies when necessary to ensure seamless operations.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Serve as the main point of contact for any parking-related issues or emergencies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years industrial construction, maintenance, or Transportation/logistics Industry (CDL a Plus) experience
  • NCCER Certified Plus (Preferred)
  • Supervisory experience (Preferred)
  • Strong understanding of traffic flow management and safety protocols
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • OSHA 30 should be preferred but not required
