Job Description

Position Overview:

The Marketing Intern Photographer/Writer will support the university’s Marketing & Communications team by capturing and producing high-quality visual and written content for campus events and projects. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented student interested in photography, digital media, and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Photograph a variety of university events, including academic and student life activities
  • Edit and enhance images using Adobe photo editing software to ensure consistency with university branding
  • Organize and maintain a digital library of images for marketing use
  • Conduct interviews with students, faculty, and staff to develop feature stories and profiles
  • Write and edit content for the university website and newsletters
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some experience in photography or content creation
  • Some knowledge of editing software, Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop.
  • Current Mass Communication major or equivalent
