About the Role: As an LTL Dock Processor, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient flow of freight through our distribution operations. This position is responsible for preparing and processing shipping documentation, creating Bills of Lading, staging outbound shipments, and ensuring freight is packaged and secured for transport. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced warehouse environment to ensure shipments are delivered accurately and on time.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00PM
Additional overtime, early arrivals, or extended hours may be required based on business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Create and process Bills of Lading (BOLs) for outbound shipments
  • Prepare pallets for shipment by banding, strapping, and shrink wrapping products
  • Verify shipment information and ensure shipping documentation is accurate and complete
  • Coordinate outbound freight and staging activities to support timely shipments
  • Utilize warehouse systems and basic computer applications to process shipping transactions
  • Inspect shipments for accuracy and proper packaging prior to carrier pickup
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dock area
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and operational guidelines
  • Support additional warehouse and shipping functions as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Experience hitching and unhitching trailers required
  • Ability to read and interpret customer orders, shipping documents, and safety procedures
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced warehouse environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:    

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
  • Prolonged standing and walking on concrete surfaces 
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and overhead lifting 
  • Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions 
  • Ability to safely climb on and off forklifts and warehouse equipment 
  • Manual dexterity for operating machinery and handling products
