We are currently hiring Paraprofessionals to support students in our specialized, non-public charter school serving Preschool through 8th grade.

What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll work closely with teachers and school leadership to support students in both educational and daily living activities. No two days are the same—and that’s part of what makes this work so rewarding.
You will:
Support students in small groups or one-on-one learning environmentsÂ
Reinforce classroom instruction and help maintain a positive learning spaceÂ
Assist with daily living needs such as feeding, hygiene, and mobility (training provided)Â
Follow individualized education and behavior plansÂ
Monitor student behavior and provide support when neededÂ
Collaborate with teachers and staff to prepare materials and track student progressÂ
Help ensure a safe, respectful, and structured classroom environmentÂ

What You’ll Need
Associate’s Degree, High School Diploma, or Paraprofessional Aide PermitÂ
Ability (or willingness to obtain) an Educational Aide Permit through the Ohio Department of Education & WorkforceÂ
Experience working with students with special needs is preferredÂ
You’ll also need to:
Complete required training (e.g., bloodborne pathogens, de-escalation, ethics)Â
Pass background requirements for school employmentÂ
Be comfortable supporting students with medical and developmental needs (training provided)Â
Work Environment & Expectations
This is an active, hands-on role. You may:
Stand, walk, bend, or assist students throughout the dayÂ
Lift up to 50 pounds occasionallyÂ
Support students who may display behavioral challengesÂ
Safety, teamwork, and student dignity are always top priorities.
