We are now seeking an Accounting Clerk/Analyst for the Accounts Receivable team.

Naples or Fort Myers Office / Part-Time

What You’ll Do

Review, verify, and process invoices for collection.
Prepare and apply customer payments accurately to customer accounts.
Maintain accounts receivable records and customer files.
Review customer accounts and investigate payment and nonpayment discrepancies.
Process credit memos and account adjustments to maintain an accurate aging report.
Reconcile customer statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Communicate with customers regarding payment status, invoice concerns, account balances, and other inquiries.
Assist with weekly accounts receivable and cash reports and schedules.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes and financial audits.
Work with other departments to support accurate financial operations.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and systems.
Perform additional accounting duties as needed to support the Finance Department.

Education & Experience

One to three years of accounts receivable, collections, bookkeeping, or related accounting experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required. An associate degree or coursework in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Professional written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and standard office applications.
Experience using accounting or financial software preferred.
Ability to manage confidential financial and customer information appropriately.
