We are now seeking an Accounting Clerk/Analyst for the Accounts Receivable team. 

Naples or Fort Myers Office / Part-Time

What You’ll Do
  • Review, verify, and process invoices for collection.
  • Prepare and apply customer payments accurately to customer accounts.
  • Maintain accounts receivable records and customer files.
  • Review customer accounts and investigate payment and nonpayment discrepancies.
  • Process credit memos and account adjustments to maintain an accurate aging report.
  • Reconcile customer statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Communicate with customers regarding payment status, invoice concerns, account balances, and other inquiries.
  • Assist with weekly accounts receivable and cash reports and schedules.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes and financial audits.
  • Work with other departments to support accurate financial operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and systems.
  • Perform additional accounting duties as needed to support the Finance Department.
Education & Experience
  • One to three years of accounts receivable, collections, bookkeeping, or related accounting experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. An associate degree or coursework in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and standard office applications.
  • Experience using accounting or financial software preferred.
  • Ability to manage confidential financial and customer information appropriately.
