Provide high-quality personal care, including assistance with mobility, dressing, bathing, and toileting
Support residents with meals, hydration, and daily activities
Offer companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing and independence
Monitor and record observations, reporting any changes to nursing staff
Work collaboratively with the wider care team to maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment
Ensure accurate and confidential documentation of all care delivered
Requirements
A compassionate, reliable, and positive attitude with a genuine interest in caring for older adults
Ideally 1+ year’s experience in elder care or a similar caregiving role (not essential)
QQI Level 5 in Healthcare (completed or in progress)
Fluent English (spoken and written)
Ability to obtain Garda Clearance and provide suitable character references
