ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Plan, build, and manage content in the CMS including landing pages, product listing pages, and banners across the site. 
  • Analyze homepage performance and collaborate with design and retention marketing teams to develop and optimize content and banners that highlight priority products and maximize engagement and conversion.
  • Develop and execute data-driven merchandising and promotional strategies, including personalization and targeted tactics, to drive product discovery, conversion, and revenue growth. 
  • Own the merchandising calendar and lead campaign planning, aligning product launches, promotions, and seasonal collections with business goals. 
  • Plan, build, and deploy accurate and timely site updates within the CMS—including landing pages, product listing pages, promotional banners, new product launches, and seasonal campaigns.​
  • Streamline and scale merchandising operations by identifying automation opportunities, reducing operational friction, and developing standardized workflows, playbooks, and best practices.​​
  • Analyze site performance and customer behavior, leveraging actionable insights to optimize the shopping experience and guide merchandising strategies. 
  • Lead eCommerce improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance the shopping experience, streamline workflows, and increase cross-team efficiency. 
  • Develop a working knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) processes, including product setup, attribute management, category assignments, and job workflows. 
  • Collaborate with design, UX/UI, product, and engineering teams to optimize CMS functionality, improve site templates, and elevate overall user experience. 
  • Document and evolve core merchandising workflows, playbooks, and strategies by synthesizing internal process improvements with competitive industry insights. 
  • Advocate for scalable systems, reusable playbooks, and operational frameworks that reduce manual work and improve team agility.  
  • Lead initiatives such as agentic workflows that modernize the merchandising and launch process, increasing velocity and reducing operational friction. 

  

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

  • Proficiency in eCommerce platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud preferred) and CMS tools. 
  • Builder & Automation Orientation: A natural drive to automate routine tasks and improve existing workflows using modern digital tools or AI applications. 
  • Systems & Technical Curiosity 
  • Proficiency in MS office applications, emphasis on Excel 
  • Some knowledge of HTML preferred. 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Bachelor’s degree. 
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in eCommerce merchandising.
