Inside Sales Representative

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to support customers throughout the order lifecycle. This role is responsible for order processing, logistics coordination, accounts receivable follow-up, customer service, and sales support activities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building customer relationships, and is highly organized with strong attention to detail.


Location: This is an in-office role based in our Carmel, IN headquarters.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00am – 5:00pm.

The responsibilities of the Inside Sales Representative include, but are not limited to, the following:

Customer Support & Order Management

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for order status updates, product questions, and customer inquiries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service. Resolve or escalate all customer issues promptly.
  • Process and manage customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure pricing, shipping, and order information is accurate.

Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate the logistics of product delivery and ensure timely shipments to customers.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and shipping departments to schedule deliveries and manage inventory levels effectively.
  • Monitor deliveries and proactively resolve shipping issues to maintain customer satisfaction.

 Accounts Receivable Management

  • Monitor customer payment status and follow up on outstanding invoices.
  • Partner with customers and finance to resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate account documentation.

Sales Support

  • Assist the sales team in generating leads, prospecting, and identifying potential sales opportunities.
  • Provide sales representatives with administrative support, including preparing sales reports, presentations, and proposals as needed.
  • Collaborate with marketing and other departments to support sales initiatives and campaigns.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, sales support, logistics or related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order processing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience working within CRM and ERP systems preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience supporting logistics, supply chain, distribution, or manufacturing operations preferred.
