What You'll Do

As a Training Coordinator, you will:

• Coordinate and manage employee training compliance, onboarding programs, annual training requirements, and staff development initiatives.
• Conduct New Employee Developmental Training and schedule, facilitate, or coordinate required training programs including CPR, First Aid, CPI, and Clinical CEU trainings.
• Maintain training databases, employee training records, compliance reports, audits, and documentation to ensure regulatory and organizational requirements are met.
• Develop, implement, and improve training programs, policies, materials, and communications while collaborating with Human Resources and operational leadership.
• Travel to regional offices and affiliate locations to deliver training, support compliance initiatives, and assist with special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related field- Bachelor's preferred
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in Human Services or a related field
  • Trainer certification in CPI, Medication Administration, and CPR/First Aid, or the ability to obtain certification within a designated timeframe
  • Experience working within Pennsylvania's Intellectual Disabilities/Autism (ID/A) service system and Medicaid Waiver programs
  • Experience as a Program Coordinator, Program Specialist, or in a similar Human Services role strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, recordkeeping, and professional writing skills
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Valid driver's license, current vehicle registration, and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and SharePoint
  • Experience developing, facilitating, and delivering employee training programs
  • Knowledge of compliance tracking, regulatory training requirements, and workforce development initiatives

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Flexible schedule based on organizational needs
• Travel to affiliate and regional office locations required
• Occasional evening training sessions or meetings may be required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, twist, and climb stairs
• Ability to lift and transport training materials and equipment as needed
• Ability to drive between office and affiliate locations
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
