Accountability – we lead by example, always accountable for doing what we agreed we would do   Position Profile The Water Spider is a critical role within BEGA’s California and Colorado Production Facilities, responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of materials to support efficient warehouse and production operations. This highly proactive role is focused on delivering the right materials to the right place at the right time, eliminating bottlenecks, and enabling value-adding employees to remain focused on their tasks.  As a key player in BEGA’s operational excellence initiatives, the Water Spider will work cross-functionally with warehouse teams, production staff, and logistics personnel to optimize material replenishment, reduce waste, and improve overall workflow. This individual will embody BEGA’s commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement while upholding safety and 5S principles.  The ideal candidate is a highly organized, self-motivated professional with strong attention to detail and a mindset for problem-solving. They thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in creating streamlined processes that enhance productivity.   Qualifications Knowledge & Experience High school diploma or GED required; additional training in lean methodologies is a plus. 1-3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or production environments is preferred. Understands material flow, inventory management, and lean manufacturing principles. Experience with kanban, just-in-time replenishment, and warehouse management systems. Strong ability to coordinate, prioritize, and multitask in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments. Ability to identify process inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions. Forklift and material handling equipment certification preferred. What you’ll do Ensure production lines receive materials just in time, preventing work stoppages and delays. This will require implementing and responding to replenishment signals and triggers. Ensure kits are complete when delivered to the assembly cell. Stage materials at the point of use and replenish as necessary. Maintain an orderly and accessible stock of materials, optimizing layout for efficient retrieval. Work closely with stakeholders to anticipate material needs and adjust workflows accordingly. Implement and refine lean practices, ensuring consistent and reliable replenishment processes. Proactively identify shortages and inefficiencies; implement solutions to optimize material flow. Maintain safety protocols and 5S principles, contributing to an organized and safe environment. Track material movement accurately, ensuring data integrity in warehouse management systems.   Performance Measurements Ensure all materials reach production or shipping teams on time and in the correct quantities. Maintain precise retrieval and tracking of materials, reducing errors and waste whenever possible. Improve and sustain replenishment workflows, ensuring minimal downtime in assembly cells. Adhere to and enforce 5S and safety standards, maintaining a clean and structured work area. Work effectively across teams to support smooth and efficient operations.  Leadership Principles And finally, BEGA has put forth a set of governing principles. Capable of lifting up to 50lbs. Utilized material moving equipment such as pallet jacks and material carts. Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.  Salary offers typically fall up to mid-range and are negotiable based on experience. The top range is reserved for growth within the role.
