Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced machine operator to operate and maintain cabling equipment on our 1st shift. Standard shift is Monday through Friday, 4:30am to 1pm. Starting Pay: $22 per hour

You will make an impact in the following way:

  • Reads and follows Manufacturing Specification to determine machine set-up, materials required, and quantity to run
  • Analyzes product attributes and determines process adjustments to bring product to spec if necessary. Gives feedback if instructions in the shop order need to be corrected.   
  • Sets up and runs various auxiliary equipment
  • Personally responsible for the safety of self and others in their work area
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and production posting correctly
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

 

What you will bring:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior experience with operating multiple machines at once is high preferred
  • Ability to read and comprehend specifications using the computer system and/or hard copy. 
  • Ability to measure product attributes as required by product specifications
  • Ability to be a team player and play a responsible and participatory role
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
