ABOUT THE ROLE

The Product Engineer will review new orders, conduct design reviews, and review change order documentation to ensure that all engineering requirements are identified and called out for new orders and change orders from their assigned group. 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform review for order entries to include, but not limited to, coolers, sections, and part orders. 
• Review and identify unique requirements, such as: wind, seismic, nozzle loads, inspection points, NDE, etc. 
• Conduct design reviews for non-standard designs. 
• Review and apply project specifications for paint requirements. 
• Conducts scope reviews. 
• Identify and call out long lead procurement items which could impact standard shop lead time. 
• Review V-belt designs.
• Upload and Confirm Data for automation
• Populate initial SNDS with job specific notes for document control.
• Notifies organization of special-order requirements. 
• Reviews all change order documents. 
• Provide engineering support to designers to complete bundle and structural detail drawings as needed.
• Attends production meeting.
• Perform final administrative check of drawings for before issuance.
• Performs other duties as assigned. 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred with 
• 2-3 years’ experience in manufacturing or quality
• Experience with air-cooled heat exchangers or relevant structural design knowledge is desired.
• Experience with software programming or workflow processes is desired. 
• Microsoft applications
• Syteline ERP experience is a plus
