Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Market Director of Corporate Responsibility (CRP), you will serve as a vital member of the market leadership team, dedicated to upholding the highest standards of ethics and regulatory integrity. You will function as the primary compliance expert for our acute care facilities, ensuring that our operations align with complex federal and state guidelines, including the OIG, CMS, and HIPAA. By bridging the gap between legal mandates and clinical operations, you will protect the organization’s reputation while fostering a culture of compliance that supports our long-term strategic goals.

 

Every day you will monitor evolving healthcare laws and provide expert consultation to leadership on the potential impacts of new regulations and enforcement efforts. You will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of our compliance program, which includes managing internal audits, conducting thorough investigations into hotline reports, and driving corrective action plans. By analyzing billing data, clinical trends, and governmental enforcement activities, you will provide the actionable insights necessary for management to make informed decisions and minimize operational risk.

 

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a deep understanding of the healthcare regulatory landscape and possess the leadership skills required to influence cross-functional teams. You will act as a key resource for triage and problem-solving, ensuring that all CRP policies are implemented consistently across assigned facilities. Whether you are leading a team, collaborating with legal counsel on physician business relationships, or presenting compliance status reports to executive boards, your commitment to transparency, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement will be essential to our mission.

 

  • Strategic Leadership: Serve as a core member of the market leadership team, championing Corporate Responsibility (CRP) standards.
  • Compliance Expert: Act as the primary subject matter expert on acute care regulations, including OIG, CMS, HIPAA, and the Affordable Care Act.
  • Risk Mitigation: Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of clinical, billing, and outlier risks through robust data analysis.
  • Regulatory Oversight: Coordinate and implement comprehensive compliance programs, including audits, investigations, and board-level reporting.
  • Legal Liaison: Collaborate closely with legal services to ensure accurate interpretation and education regarding physician business relationships.
  • Team Development: Manage and mentor facility compliance staff, overseeing performance evaluations and professional development.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Bachelors Other in related discipline and Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a management-level position in a hospital or healthcare system
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ working experience in one or more areas of healthcare compliance, in either an acute care or clinic environment
  • Experience in development and implementation of facility-wide policies and/or practices
  • Certified Health Care Compliance, within 12 - months
