Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • Prepare and execute new projects and model/variant introductions by ensuring process, tooling, facility, and production readiness in line with APQP requirements
  • Plan and implement facilities, tools, fixtures, gauges, and equipment, including budget preparation, procurement, installation, and commissioning for new products and process changes
  • Drive implementation of ECNs, PCRNs, and PDRNs involving major tooling, equipment, and process modifications to support manufacturing requirements
  • Provide process and tooling support to vendors for new projects, capacity expansion, localization, and major replenishment activities
  • Perform capacity planning, line balancing, and introduction of new technologies to enhance manufacturing capability, productivity, quality and cost effectiveness
  • Establish, review, and improve manufacturing processes, layouts, and work methods to reduce work content, optimize resources, and improve overall productivity
  • Maintain and control design drawings and technical documents related to jigs, fixtures, dies, gauges, welding fixtures, and assembly equipment
  • Knowledge of Robotics & PLC and need to work on the same
  • Resolve process, quality, and field concerns, ensure process audit readiness, support DCP reviews, and lead infrastructural development initiatives for sustained operational excellence
