Overnight Campus Custodian

Pay: $16.00 / hour

Location: Wentworth Street, Charleston, SC 29401 (On-site)

Schedule: Full-Time | Sunday – Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Requirements: Background check required; ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds. Must be able to walk up to 8 hours a day on city sidewalks

What You’ll Do

As an Overnight Custodian, you play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across the academic buildings of a campus location.

• Perform nightly janitor and custodian duties, including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and sanitizing common areas, classrooms, and restrooms.

• Act as an attentive commercial cleaner, ensuring high-traffic campus spaces are spotless and prepared for students and faculty each morning.

• Support facility operations as a dependable janitor, handling routine night-shift cleaning duties with care and detail.

What You Bring To The Team

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and high attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently during night hours.

• Reliable transportation to the campus site at 88 Wentworth Street.

• Ability to pass a background check and perform physical tasks (bending, lifting up to 40 lbs, walking).
