Overview:

At MMCS, the Construction Foreman is responsible for leading a small team of laborers and assisting with the day-to-day completion of construction and renovation projects. This position works alongside the crew to ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.



What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and direct a small team of laborers on daily job assignments.
  • Assign daily work to each crew member.
    • Set expectations for productivity and quality.
    • Monitor attendance and punctuality.
    • Provide daily direction and on-the-job training.
    • Address minor performance and conduct issues and report larger concerns to management.
    • Recommend crew needs, training, or corrective action to leadership.
  • Plan and forecast for future projects, including labor, tools, materials, and equipment needs
  • Perform hands-on construction, renovation, and general labor work.
  • Ensure the crew follows safety procedures and maintains a clean jobsite.
  • Communicate job progress, material needs, and issues to the Vice President, MMCS
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing tools and materials.
  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors as needed.
  • Inspect completed work for quality and completeness.
  • Track daily time and job-related activities.


What You Need to Succeed:

  • 3+ years of proven construction or team-lead experience required
  • Ability to lead and motivate a small crew.
  • General knowledge of construction, maintenance, and renovation.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Dependable, hands-on, and willing to work as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.



What To Take Note Of:

  • Work is primarily performed at active construction and renovation job sites.
  • Position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting throughout the workday.
  • Ability to regularly lift and carry materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • May be exposed to dust, dirt, noise, weather conditions, and typical construction hazards.
  • Work may occasionally require early mornings, extended hours, or schedule changes based on project needs.
