About the Role

Social Media – 50%
-
Actively and consistently seek opportunities to perform social listening, identify emerging trends, and engage with community members across social channels.

Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) across social media channels and Employee Advocacy and provide recommendations to improve social media reach and cross-functional campaign efforts.

Curate content for Employee Advocacy and write copy for company-wide usage.

Partner with Mentor to research, develop, and create content and write copy for social channels that is on-trend and aligns with business goals and objectives.

Content Marketing – 50 %

Draft and edit blog posts, email newsletters, landing pages and other short form copy that aligns with the Discovery Education’s branding and voice.

Collaborate with corporate team to generate innovative ideas for content that engages our target audience and stands out in the market.

Provide data-driven recommendations for content revisions and work cross functionally with design and campaign team to update collateral and programs.
RequirementsÂ

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Experience with social media tools and best practices.

Highly flexible and comfortable with ambiguity.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Basic math proficiency.

Strong writing and editing skills- must be able to produce clear, compelling, and grammatically correct content.

Skilled at conducting research and translating findings into engaging content ideas.

Legal right to work in the United States.
