Registered Nurse (RN) – PRN Role with Impact!

What You’ll Do

  • Guide and reassure patients—explain procedures and treatments before and after endoscopic procedures to ensure understanding and comfort.
  • Deliver exceptional care—administer medications and treatments using approved nursing techniques.
  • Monitor and respond—observe patients, record significant conditions, and notify physicians of changes or reactions.
  • Stay vigilant—take vital signs, assess patient conditions, and respond to life-saving situations following established protocols.
  • Maintain safety and compliance—adhere to infection control standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively—keep patients and care teams informed throughout the continuum of care.
  • Document thoroughly—ensure accurate and timely charting in accordance with legal and medical standards.

Requirements

Education/ and or Experience:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
  • One to three years related experience and/or training
  • Maintains knowledge, skills, and abilities through ongoing education.
  • Completes all mandatory reviews/educational required and assigned.
  • Participates in performance improvement activities.
  • Is actively committed to meeting / exceeding employee expectations/satisfaction in the performance of job functions.
  • Retains all accreditations, licensures, and designations in good standing.
  • Maintains compliance with all laws and applicable regulatory requirements. Acts promptly to comply with required changes.
  • Specialized Knowledge Required– Including any required certificates, licenses, and registration
  • Current unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina or compact state
  • BLS required
  • ACLS required within 6 months of hire
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
