Registered Nurse (RN) – PRN Role with Impact!

What You’ll Do
- Guide and reassure patients—explain procedures and treatments before and after endoscopic procedures to ensure understanding and comfort.
- Deliver exceptional care—administer medications and treatments using approved nursing techniques.
- Monitor and respond—observe patients, record significant conditions, and notify physicians of changes or reactions.
- Stay vigilant—take vital signs, assess patient conditions, and respond to life-saving situations following established protocols.
- Maintain safety and compliance—adhere to infection control standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively—keep patients and care teams informed throughout the continuum of care.
- Document thoroughly—ensure accurate and timely charting in accordance with legal and medical standards.

Requirements

Education/ and or Experience:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
- One to three years related experience and/or training
- Maintains knowledge, skills, and abilities through ongoing education.
- Completes all mandatory reviews/educational required and assigned.
- Participates in performance improvement activities.
- Is actively committed to meeting / exceeding employee expectations/satisfaction in the performance of job functions.
- Retains all accreditations, licensures, and designations in good standing.
- Maintains compliance with all laws and applicable regulatory requirements. Acts promptly to comply with required changes.
- Specialized Knowledge Required– Including any required certificates, licenses, and registration
- Current unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina or compact state
- BLS required
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
