As a Shipping Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring all outgoing products are accurately prepared and dispatched to our valued customers. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and package products for shipment according to company standards.
- All orders are processed within 24 hours
- Verify orders for accuracy before shipment.
- Create and manage shipping labels and documentation.
- Coordinate with various carriers to schedule pickups and manage shipping logistics.
- Maintain an organized and clean shipping area to ensure efficiency.
- Assist in resolving shipping discrepancies and customer inquiries regarding shipments.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications:
- 21 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in handling shipping software and tools.
- 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Preferences:
- Experience in the firearm industry or related retail experience.
- Knowledge of shipping regulations and best practices.
