Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supplies production work cells and production areas with materials and supplies to keep production running.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Â
Essential Duties, Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Operates a forklift to load and unload and move pallets, parts, materials, and racks.
- Supplies department workstations with appropriate racks and materials for production.
- Moves racks of materials to and from department to department.
- Completes paperwork as assigned.
- Works self-directed with little supervision.
Requirements
Education and/or Work Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add and subtract three-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’. Must be able to perform these operations using units of weight measurements, height, weight, volume, and distance.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly stand for prolonged periods on concrete; use hands to finger, handle, grasp or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.Â
- Occasionally required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend or twist.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
