Engineering Automotive Analyst (All-Source Intelligence)

The Opportunity:
CACI has an exciting opportunity for an engineering analyst to support the analysis of ground combat mobility systems and platforms at the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC) Scientific and Technical Intelligence (S&TI) Directorate, by providing all-source intelligence analysis and engineering expertise focused on foreign automotive systems, platforms, and emerging technologies.

This role is critical to NGIC’s mission to deliver timely, contextual, and actionable intelligence to operational commanders, materiel developers, and policy makers.
 

Join our Team as we drive all-source collection, apply research, and deliver technical intelligence on foreign technologies helping our customers to assess current threats and forecast future threats on some of the nationals most challenging missions. 

Responsibilities:
•Conduct all-source research and analysis on foreign automotive platforms, subsystems, and technologies, integrating intelligence from classified, open-source, technical, HUMINT, SIGINT, and OSINT sources
• Assess scientific and technical capabilities, vulnerabilities, and battlefield effectiveness of foreign ground vehicles, including wheeled/tracked vehicles, unmanned systems, and associated automotive technologies.
• Author and contribute to intelligence products (briefings, reports, assessments) compliant with NGIC production standards and IC tradecraft (ICD 203/206)
•Drive collection strategies, respond to Requests for Information (RFIs), and input relevant data into NGIC and IC databases (e.g., Intelligence Mission Data, SPIRIT, JCOFA).
•Collaborate with STEM subject matter experts, data scientists, and engineering teams to enhance analytic rigor and technical depth.
•Support rapid-response tasking and surge requirements, adapting to evolving mission priorities and timelines.
•Prepare and deliver technical briefings and presentations for NGIC leadership, external customers, and operational units.
•Maintain compliance with NGIC security, training, and quality assurance standards, including annual IC-accepted analyst training, cyber awareness, OPSEC, and Army security protocols.
•Participate in monthly progress reviews, status reporting, and quality control activities as required by NGIC

Qualifications:

Required: 

•BA/BS in Engineering, Intelligence, or related STEM field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in engineering, intelligence analysis, or automotive systems.
• Demonstrated proficiency in all-source intelligence collection, analysis, and integration, with experience in automotive platforms and emerging technologies.
• Familiarity with NGIC analytic tools and databases.
•  Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce high-quality, IC-compliant intelligence products.
• Ability to obtain and maintain TS//SCI clearance, with additional program access as required.
• Experience supporting rapid-response and surge tasking in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
• Knowledge of IC tradecraft standards (ICD 203/206), NGIC digital production requirements, and DoD/Army security protocols.

Desired:

•Experience with NGIC S&TI mission areas, including automotive, unmanned systems, and advanced materials.
• Familiarity with IC and DoD analytic workflows, digital production, and quality assurance processes.
• Experience supporting NGIC external customers.
• Advanced degree in engineering, data science, or related field.
