Inventory Manager
USA Industrials | Buffalo, NY | On-Site

Own the inventory accuracy our entire warehouse runs on.
This isn’t a back-office counting job. As our Inventory Manager, you’ll own the data that drives warehouse, purchasing, and finance decisions—knowing what we have, where it is, and making sure our systems reflect reality.

You’ll lead our continuous cycle-count program across hundreds of thousands of SKUs, investigate and resolve inventory variances, drive warehouse organization and location-management projects, and develop a team that takes pride in getting it right.

What You’ll Do

Lead & Develop Your Team
  • Lead, coach, and develop inventory and cycle-count associates.
  • Set clear expectations and provide regular performance feedback.
  • Build a culture of accountability, accuracy, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Promote a safety-first work environment.
Own Inventory Accuracy
  • Manage the continuous cycle-count program from scheduling through review and approval.
  • Maintain ABC/SKU classifications and appropriate count frequencies.
  • Investigate variances between physical inventory and NetSuite records.
  • Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy.
Improve Warehouse Systems & Processes
  •  Lead bin and location-management projects, including warehouse renumbering and rezoning initiatives.
  • Partner with receiving and purchasing to reconcile inbound shipment discrepancies.
  • Oversee vendor returns and inventory disposition.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and locations for hazardous and special-handling materials.
  • Use KPIs, dashboards, and other data to identify trends, measure progress, and solve problems.
  • Partner closely with warehouse operations, purchasing, finance, and systems teams.
What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a hands-on inventory leader who’s as comfortable on the warehouse floor as they are working through a large spreadsheet.

  • 5+ years of inventory control or warehouse management experience.
  •  2+ years of experience leading and developing a team.
  • Experience in a high-SKU-count warehouse, distribution, or industrial environment strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and drive solutions.
  • Hands-on ERP experience; NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments.
  • A continuous-improvement mindset and strong attention to detail.
What Success Looks Like

You’ll quickly learn our operation, inventory systems, SKU catalog, and team. From there, you’ll identify the biggest drivers of inventory variance and opportunities for improvement, then turn those findings into measurable improvements in inventory accuracy and cycle-count completion.

Long term, you’ll play an important role in how we continue to improve and scale our inventory operations.

  • Performance-based annual bonus
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
