Description

Supervisor: Patrol Director

Department: Lift Operations

Position Summary: Loads/unloads guests from chair lifts. Performs tasks to start-up and shut-down of lifts. Reports any out of the ordinary occurrences.

Job Relationships:

  • Responsible To: Guests, Lift Operation Supervisor, Lift Maintenance, Operations Director
  • Employees Supervised: None
  • Inter-Relationships: Work closely with Lift Operation Supervisor, Ski Patrol, and Maintenance to better serve our guests

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Start-up and inspect lift at beginning of shift before Any Loading
  • Clean and check chairs
  • Assist riders on/off chair lift
  • Maintains ramps and shovel snow
  • Additional duties maybe assigned
  • Understand and follow the “Lift Operations Guide”

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Certification: Completion and passing of Lift Operator training course
  • Experience: None
  • Other Requirements: Ability to relate in a positive manner to guests and co-workers

Environmental Factors:

  • Frequent lifting of items weighing 60 Lbs. or more
  • Exposure to possible hazards associated with machinery and moving equipment
  • Will be exposed to severe weather while performing duties
  • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time
