CDL Driver Sourcing Specialist – Candidate Development & Recruiting Outreach
Truck Driver Nation is seeking a CDL Driver Sourcing Specialist to help identify and engage professional truck drivers for available transportation opportunities.
This position concentrates on the front end of recruiting: finding potential candidates, starting conversations, identifying driver interests, and developing qualified leads for the recruiting pipeline.
ROLE FOCUS
• Identify CDL driver candidates through approved recruiting channels
• Respond to incoming driver inquiries and applications
• Conduct initial outreach by phone, email, and recruiting platforms
• Gather basic information about CDL status, experience, location, and work preferences
• Identify candidates who meet preliminary requirements
• Maintain organized prospect and applicant records
• Schedule qualified candidates for the next recruiting step
• Maintain consistent follow-up with interested drivers
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Strong communication and people skills
• Comfortable initiating conversations with professional drivers
• Organized and consistent with follow-up
• Comfortable using computers, recruiting platforms, and online systems
• Ability to manage multiple prospective candidates
• Recruiting, transportation, customer service, or sales experience is helpful
• Knowledge of the trucking industry is valuable but not required
