Hey Bartenders! Welcome to the Wing Shack Crew

As a Wing Shack bartender, you’re the face of the party. You’re not just pouring drinks—you’re creating an awesome vibe that keeps guests coming back. We pride ourselves on serving up killer craft cocktails and local beers, all while keeping things safe, legal, and inclusive.

Here’s the deal: we operate as one big team. While the bar is your main stage, everyone at the Shack cross-trains and pitches in wherever needed to keep the restaurant running smoothly.

The Golden Rules (Our 6 Core Expectations)

  • Be on time: Reliability is everything.
  • Do the job how you’re trained: Hit your stride and keep up with the Shack's fast pace.
  • Be professional & trustworthy: Keep it clean, keep it honest.
  • Communicate clearly: Speak up, listen well, and keep everyone in the loop.
  • Work together: We win (and survive the rushes) as a team.

What You’ll Be Doing Around the Shack

When you aren't shaking up drinks or hanging out with bar guests, you'll be expected to dive into other areas of the restaurant:

  • The Kitchen & Prep: Helping prep, cook, grill, fry, season, and sauce our famous wings using standard kitchen gear. If it's on the menu, you'll learn how to make it.
  • The Front Counter: Rocking the register, handling cash properly, crushing the hospitality game, and running takeout or dine-in orders to our guests.
  • The Clean Crew: Keeping the whole joint spotless. This means washing dishes, scrubbing equipment, organizing stock, and making sure the dining room and bar look top-notch.
  • Safety First: Strictly following all safety regulations, health codes, and standard operating procedures outlined in your training materials.

As a Team Leader, you’ll act as the right-hand to the management team, helping run daily operations and keeping the Wing Shack energy high. You’ll:

  • Lead, train, and motivate team members to uphold Wing Shack’s standards of service, food quality, and cleanliness.
  • Assist with scheduling, shift planning, and ensuring adequate coverage during peak times.
  • Support the onboarding of new hires and provide ongoing coaching and development.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, resolving guest concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Help monitor inventory, place orders, and ensure proper food and beverage storage.
  • Oversee cash handling, deposits, and accurate POS procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant restaurant environment in accordance with company, local, and federal guidelines.
  • Step into the manager role when needed to keep operations running smoothly.

Bottom line: If you love a fast-paced environment, don't mind getting your hands dirty in the kitchen, and genuinely love making people happy, you're going to fit right in. Welcome to the team!
