The Company:

The Building Group has been a leader in residential property management for over 30-years, providing management services to nearly 20,000 residential units throughout Chicagoland. Our company is growing and seeks qualified candidates with experience in delivering exemplary management services.

Assistant Property Manager Position:

This position is "Onsite" and reports to an onsite management office at a building in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago, 5 days per week.

The Assistant Property Manager serves an essential role in providing assistance to a property manager. The position requires exceptional customer service and organizational skills. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Responding to email messages from residents
  • Processing standard form requests (auto-debit, owner info…)
  • Managing all move related items (scheduling and collecting/returning move deposits)
  • Amenity space bookings
  • General communication to maintenance staff concerning work orders
  • Maintain owner/resident information, leases, and other relevant data
  • Arrange unit entry and schedule service on a regular and emergency basis
  • Schedule/follow up on maintenance requests
  • Maintain data and information relevant to corporates filings, city permits, and all documents relevant to the property.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate tremendous customer service and organizational skills, with a meaningful interest in the management of real condominium associations.

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Some College
  • Organizational and writing skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Experience with Condominium Associations is strongly preferred
  • Real Estate / Property Experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
